Embracing the Messy, Beautiful Unknown
— real conversations on relationships, therapy, and the messy, beautiful reality of not always having the answers.
About Me
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about staying open to the messy, beautiful, and uncertain parts of life. I’m Dr. Aimee Hubbard, a couples therapist, researcher, and AAMFT-approved supervisor who helps people deepen connection, embrace the unknown, and navigate relationships with curiosity instead of fear. Whether through therapy, teaching, or writing, my goal is to make mental health knowledge accessible, real, and a little bit nerdy. Welcome!
Stay Confused: Navigating Growth and the Unknown as a Therapist
(Coming Soon!)
Therapists are taught to know things—but what if growth comes from staying with the questions? Stay Confused explores the messiness of becoming and evolving as a therapist, embracing uncertainty, and learning from the pivotal moments that shape us. Featuring insights from leaders in the field, this book is for anyone who has ever wondered, Am I doing this right? (Hint: There’s no one right way.)
Need an expert voice on relationships, couples therapy, mental health, or therapist development? I offer insightful, down-to-earth commentary on the complexities of love, growth, and the unknowns we all navigate. I’m available for podcast interviews, guest articles, and media appearances, bringing a fresh and relatable perspective backed by years of clinical experience and research.
