About me
I believe relationships—both with others and ourselves—are always evolving. As a couples therapist, researcher, and AAMFT-approved supervisor, I help people navigate the complexities of connection with authenticity and curiosity. My work is rooted in systems thinking, experiential therapy, and an ongoing fascination with how relationships grow, shift, and sometimes struggle.
Beyond the therapy room, I’m a researcher with a focus on couples' help-seeking behaviors, particularly among historically underserved and marginalized groups. I’m also deeply interested in understanding the magic (and mechanics) of why therapy works—what actually helps people heal and change. My work explores how therapists show up in the room, how they navigate uncertainty, and how meaningful connection can foster growth, even in the most challenging moments.
Through my writing, teaching, and speaking, I aim to bridge the gap between academic research and real-life application—making deep, meaningful insights accessible without losing the nuance. Whether you're here for therapy, collaboration, or just exploring new ways to think about relationships, I’m glad you’re here.
